My Journey

I initially wanted to be a physicist. But by the end of high school, I was already having my first midlife crisis. In my first day of univeristy, I switched from physics to business to psychology.

I became fascinated with how our brains learn and think. Partly because I dropped physics thinking math was too hard to learn, but also every great invention is some incredible intelligent solution to a problem, so the idea of being able to hack that was also quite intruiging.

Like Lewis Carroll, I followed the rabbit hole - from cognitive neuroscience to logic, philosophy, and math - eventually landing in the wonderland of computer science.

That was one of the first quotes that really stuck with me. The idea that everything out of our awareness is also out of our control. How can you learn better if you aren't aware of how you learn? How can you know the solution if you aren't aware of the problem?

My Career

It began in 2018 with an internship at Cisco . This experience had a profound impact on me - I got exposure to cutting edge tech from networking, cloud, AI, and cybersecurity.

Mostly, I had culture shock after visiting silicon valley. Lyrics echoed 'if you want these kind of dreams, it's Californication'.

By the end of university, I built my first serious project on my own: a market research platform for sentiment analysis on social media posts to see how price movements in the stock market correlate with online sentiment. Since then, I’ve worked across AI and web3.

I recently took some time to reflect seriously on my career and life. How I started and where I'm going. Now fully committed to AI and building my own startup. I'm failing fast, improving every day, and waking up excited every day to learn more.
